Event Registration
Live Tourney provides users with a simple to use registration portal to streamline event roster creation. By using registration, you can create a shell event, which will populate with players and teams based on who registers.
Getting Started
Registrations setup can be found within the “Player Details” section of event creation. Here, you will be presented with two option to either add players from an existing roster, or set up event registration.
Registration Customization
Upon selecting “Set Up Registration”, you will be given a menu of ways to customize the registration experience. Options are as follow:
- Write your event description
- Max Player Count: Select the max number of registrants
- Registration Cut Off: Specify a registration cut off date
- Searchable Clubs: Allows players in a roster club to search there names during registration instead of remembering GHIN or typing in a handicap index.
- Choose handicapped or non handicapped event
- Require a full team to register all together (vs partial registrations)
- Decide whether an active GHIN will be required during registration
- Allow registration waitlist
- Add an open ended question to registration
- Add registration based tee times
- Automatically creates groups in finalize event setup
- Add a multiple choice question to registration
- This can be useful to gather information about a group prior to an event such as whether they are walking or riding in a cart
- Elect to have free registration or paid registration through the registration portal
- Decide who pays the fee (player vs admin)
- If the player pays the fee, it will be added to their total price. If the admin pays the fee, it will be deducted from the total take home.
- Price Name: Label what the registrants are paying for
- Price per Player: Designate the price
- Add Price: Add a new line item for which to collect fees

Manage, Track, and Email Registrants
Once your registration creation is complete, you can see options to manage registration in the event dropdown located in the main dashboard.
- Manage Registrants: View, edit, add, download, or cancel registrants, then tweak registration details.
- Re-opening registration will impact any scorecard or event changes made after event finalization.
- Finish Event Setup: Once your event is full, finalize registration to access event management tools.
- If you want to re-open registration, this can be accomplished in the “registration settings” within “view registrations” in the … dropdown menu.
- Duplicate or delete the registration event.
- Send Email: Send dynamic emails to clubs or registrants.
