Overview
In this article, we will explore the “Edit Event Information” section in the event dropdown for single round events.
Getting Started
To edit event information, you must finish the event setup process, then select the event dropdown … ellipsis located to the right of the event name in the main dashboard. This button will give you an assortment of options to manage and modify your event.
Orientation and Functionality
Within Edit Event Information, you will be able to modify your previously created event information in the below ways.
Primary Options
- Re-name Tournament
- Update the event start date
- Modify game type
- Game type modification options will be limited based on initial event creation details such as team size or format
Handicap Options
- Handicap allowance
- Modify max course handicap
- Set the limit of how many strokes a player or team can have
- Modify max index differential
- The maximum difference between teammates handicaps. For example if player A is a 1.0 and player B is a 15.3, but the max index differential is 7, player B will have their index down to a 8.0 to accommodate the maximum index differential of 7.
- Start handicap at quota
- Instead of starting at 0, players will start at their quota or course handicap
Leaderboard Options
- Show first and last names on leaderboard
- Hide scorecards on leaderboard
- Hide leaderboard
- Show total score instead of to par score on leaderboard
- Show only gross, only net, or both scores on leaderboard
- Upload and show custom image on leaderboard
Event Options
- Show/add information banner
- Display a moving banner at the top of the leaderboard
- Choose the banner “tone” such as “information”, “warning”, or “urgent”.

- Max Hole Score
- The maximum net score a player / team can make on a given hole.
- Only calculate scores from specific holes on leaderboard
- Only calculate scores from the number of best holes selected on leaderboard
TV Options
TV settings offer a TV-specific URL that allows you to screencast or project onto a monitor of your choice. TV leaderboards can be customized by the following:
- Auto scroll speed and text size slider
- Always show the leader at the top, while the rest of the standings scroll
- Auto switch between gross & net
- Auto switch between flights
- Hide “all flights” when switching between flights
- Upload leaderboard image (found under “sponsor image” button in “leaderboard options”).
- Upload your logo instead of the Live Tourney Logo, which can be accessed while editing user settings
- Access a TV specific URL, which is the existing event URL with /tv at the evnt
