How to I update and manage a league?

Managing your existing league

League Overview

 

Now that you’ve created your league, some question may arise regarding editing or adding events, updating standing, and modifying points and payouts.

The following images show an example of the admin view for league schedule and standings. Events can be added, deleted, or accessed from this page. You can also edit the name of the event, filter standings to a previously built roster, or show results based on teams from the league admin side.

Adding Events

It is likely you will create a league before there are any events to attach. If you already have the league, and want to attach events after the fact, there are 3 ways this is accomplished.

  1. From the league page click “Add Events” beneath the schedule header.
  1. From the main dashboard, events can be added to a league by clicking “Add to League +” located beneath the event name and date. See a color coated example of this below.
    1. Single Round, Multi Round, Ryder Cup, and Round Robin events can all be added to the same league.

Standings

A key element of Live Tourney's league functionality is the ability to maintain an ongoing leaderboard in the form of standings. This section will be empty until you assign points and/or payouts for an event attached to your league. Here is an article on updating points and payouts in Live Tourney events. Once scores submitted and payouts/points are added in the event dropdown, the standings will automatically render results.
