Lightspeed Golf Integration Guide
Live Tourney integrates with Lightspeed Golf (ChronoGolf) to streamline your tournament operations. This integration allows you to sync your member roster and push tournament pairings directly to your Lightspeed tee sheet.
Getting Started
How to Enable the Integration
The Lightspeed Golf integration requires setup on both sides. Follow these steps to get connected:
- Contact Lightspeed Golf Support
- Reach out to your Lightspeed Golf account representative or support team
- Request that they enable the Live Tourney integration for your organization
- Lightspeed will configure the necessary API access on their end
- Contact Live Tourney Support
- Once Lightspeed has enabled the integration, email us at help@livetourney.com
- Let us know your Lightspeed organization name
- We’ll connect your Live Tourney account to your Lightspeed organization
- Verify the Connection
- Go to Settings → Integrations in your Live Tourney dashboard
- You should see “Connected” with your Lightspeed organization name displayed
- If you don’t see the connection, contact us at help@livetourney.com

1. Roster Sync
Import your Lightspeed customers directly into your Live Tourney roster, keeping your member database synchronized.
How to Sync Your Roster
- Navigate to Roster in your dashboard
- Click the Import dropdown button
- Select Import from Lightspeed
- The import modal will load all customers from your Lightspeed organization
Import Options
Preview and Select Members - View all Lightspeed customers in a sortable table - Filter by member type (e.g., “Member”, “Guest”, “Staff”) - Select individual customers or use “Select All” for filtered results - Sort by name, email, phone, or member number
Club Assignment - Assign imported members to an existing club in your roster - Or create a new club during import by entering a club name
What Gets Imported - First and last name - Email address - Phone number - Lightspeed member number (stored for reference) - Member/player type
Smart Duplicate Handling - Live Tourney automatically matches existing roster members by name and email - Existing members are updated with the latest Lightspeed data - New members are added to your roster - No duplicate entries are created
2. Tee Sheet Integration
Push your tournament pairings directly to Lightspeed as tee time reservations. This eliminates double-entry and ensures your pro shop tee sheet matches your tournament groups.
How to Push Pairings to Lightspeed
- Open your tournament event
- Create your pairings/scorecards as usual
- Click Push to Lightspeed (or find this option in your event menu)
- The tee time matching modal will open
Automatic Matching
Live Tourney intelligently matches your scorecards to available Lightspeed tee times:
Match Type | Description |
Exact Match | Same tee time and starting hole |
Close Match | Same time, starting hole within ±2 holes |
Time-Only Match | Time within ±5 minutes, any hole |
No Match | No suitable tee time found |
Exact matches are automatically selected for you. You can manually adjust matches as needed.
Multi-Course Support
If your facility has multiple courses in Lightspeed, you’ll be prompted to select which course to push reservations to.
Cart Management
- Add or remove cart requests for each pairing
- Use bulk controls to add carts to all pairings at once
- Cart information is sent to Lightspeed with the reservation
Automatic Check-In
Enable the “Auto Check-In” option to automatically check in players when the reservation is created. This saves your pro shop staff time on tournament day.
Player Matching
- Live Tourney matches tournament players to Lightspeed customers by name and email
- Players without a Lightspeed record are automatically created as new customers
- Lightspeed member numbers are preserved for easy identification
Managing Reservations
After pushing pairings: - Reservations appear on your Lightspeed tee sheet - Each scorecard stores a link to its Lightspeed reservation - You can cancel reservations from Live Tourney if pairings change - Re-push updated pairings as needed
Viewing Your Connection Status
To check if your Lightspeed integration is active:
- Go to Settings in your dashboard
- Click the Integrations tab
- Look for the Lightspeed Golf section
Connected Status: - Shows a green checkmark with “Connected” - Displays your Lightspeed organization name - Disconnect option available if needed
Not Connected: - Shows setup instructions - Contact help@livetourney.com to get connected
Disconnecting the Integration
If you need to disconnect from Lightspeed:
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Find the Lightspeed Golf section
- Click Disconnect
- Confirm the disconnection
Note: To reconnect after disconnecting, you’ll need to contact Live Tourney support again.
Troubleshooting
“Integration not set up” message
Contact help@livetourney.com with your Lightspeed organization name to complete the setup.
Roster sync not finding customers
- Ensure your Lightspeed organization has customer records
- Check that member types are correctly configured in Lightspeed
- Try refreshing the import modal
Tee times not matching
- Verify tee times exist in Lightspeed for your event date
- Check that scorecard times align with your Lightspeed tee sheet
- Ensure the correct course is selected (for multi-course facilities)
Push to Lightspeed failing
- Verify the tee time has available slots
- Check that player information (names, emails) is complete
- Ensure you have an active Lightspeed connection in Settings
