In Live Tourney, you can easily import your players and clubs to streamline your tournament management process. By following a few simple steps, you'll be able to add and organize player information efficiently. In this article, we'll guide you through the process of importing players and clubs into Live Tourney.
Access the My Roster section
To begin, log in to your Live Tourney account and navigate to the dashboard. In the main navigation menu, click on "My Roster" to access the player and club management page. Click on “Create Club” to get started.

Create a new club
Once you've created a new club, you have multiple options to import players. Choose the method that suits your needs:
- Spreadsheet Import: If you have a spreadsheet containing player data, you can import it directly into Live Tourney. Click on the "Import Roster From File" button and follow the instructions to upload your player information.
- Create Empty: Alternatively, you can choose to create a blank club and manually add player information by clicking on the "Create Empty Club" button. Fill in the necessary details for each player, such as name and contact information.
Export your roster to a CSV with the “export roster” button in your master roster
View Your Roster
Once your players are imported into the club, you can easily search for and select them when setting up events. During the event setup process, you'll find a player search field where you can enter the player's name. Live Tourney will display matching results, allowing you to select the desired player for the event.

Roster Actions
By selecting players in the roster list, a new “Actions” button will appear where you can create roster default tees or add players to a league.
Roster default tees is a powerful feature where players added to events will default to their assigned tees in the roster, reducing manual work when creating events.
